At Alwan & Sons, we pride ourselves on the variety of items we offer. Whether it's a special sauce, spice, frozen item, beer, or cut of meat, we have what you need!

Our Meat Cases

We have over 50 feet of meat case filled with great cuts of pork, beef and chicken. Our 20 foot deli case is stocked with a wide selection of lunchmeats and salads..

In our chicken section, we have whole or cut up chicken, wings, leg quarters, and whole or boneless skinless chicken breasts. All of these items are kept fresh and available in various package sizes. We offer special case prices on some items such as our fabulous chicken wings.

Alwans has always been known as "The Beef People." Our beef case is our largest meat case.

We have a large selection of cuts of beef, which include a few of our own house cuts. The most popular of these is the Hotel Steak. This affordable cut is quite versatile. It can be served as a steak, or cut up to make your favorite dish.

We are always very willing to cut any steak to any size that you like. Whether it's a six ounce filet or a two pound Porterhouse, we cut to your liking! Any customer can select a beef tenderloin and we will trim and cut it any way you choose at no extra cost.

The final section at the meat counter is the pork section. We make our own brats and Italian sausage fresh in the store. Our Italian sausage can be purchased either as links or in bulk. We have excellent pork chops, which are great when marinated with one of our favorites, such as the "Romero's Pineapple Marinade".

Alwan & Sons Deli

In the deli section, Alwans offers a wide variety of choice deli meats, all of which can be sliced to your liking. We have products from Eckrich, Magnolia, and Avanti cheeses, just to name a few. Our premium line includes lunchmeats from Dietz & Watson, which is all heart-healthy and uses as little preservatives as possible.

Many of the salads that we offer are made right in the store, while all others are brought in fresh. We have traditional salads, such as potato salad and cole slaw, but also carry homemade hummus, tabouli salad, and bruschetta.

Our deli department also has a wide variety of vegetable and meat & cheese trays to offer. They can be custom-created to serve from 10 to 50 people.

Besides the items in our cases, Alwans features a produce, grocery, frozen, and wine and spirits section.

Produce

Our produce section offers a wide variety of salads, both traditional and organic. Be sure to pick up some of our fresh mushrooms to top off any steak. In addition to many vegetables, we also carry a limited amount of the freshest fruit.

Our shelves are always full, and we have both everyday items and many specialty items. From ketchup and mustard to hard to find spices and seasonings, we are always willing to order specialty items that you may need.

Grocery

In our grocery section, we carry items you will most want to accompany your very special Alwans purchase. In our grocery section you will discover our own line of barbecue and steak sauces. Alwans’ sauce is offered in both mild and tangy flavors, and we carry a variety of sizes. Alwans also has our own namebrand custom spices and seasonings. Whether you need the basics, like garlic pepper, or a very special prime rib rub or a specialty pork seasoning, see Alwans!

Wine & Spirits

In our wine and spirits section, we offer locally brewed and imported beer. We have a great selection of wines to satisfy any palate and complement any meal. We have price levels to fit any budget. You can have a gourmet meal without the gourmet prices when you shop at Alwans.

Freezer Items

Our freezer section is always well stocked with a wide selection of items you’ll want to add to your shopping basket. One our most popular freezer items is our breaded hot wings. We offer a hot and a mild variety, so if you don't like 'em too hot, you can still enjoy the mild wings!

We carry frozen fish and shrimp, most of which are available at case prices. And don’t forget the french fries, onion rings, pasta, and pizza.

Overall, the products at Alwan & Sons are always of the highest quality, and they are always ever- changing. You are bound to find something new each trip, and we are usually able to find many special items that you may want but cannot find elsewhere in the Peoria area.
