known as the “beef people.” Today, we are proud to be known as the meat obsessed Alwan boys where we are keeping the
legacy of one of America’s great meat markets alive right here in Peoria.
Meat
At Alwan & Sons we carry over 150 displayed cuts of additive-free meat in our 100 foot counter. We offer beef from happy cows that
are grain fed. Our chickens arrive daily from farms well known to the Alwan family. Chickens are cut on site for a consistently fresher,
better tasting chicken, unlike the big factory chicken you get at the supermarket. Our pork doesn’t shrink up because it’s fresh and not
shot up with additives, or whatever the maximum the USDA will allow, so when you buy a pound of pork from us, you get a full pound of pork.
We also make our own brats and Italian sausage. We have a large selection to choose from whether it is a six ounce filet, whole or cut up
chicken, or mouthwatering butter flied pork chops we will cut any piece of meat to your liking. Anyone knows that good meat is just one
ingredient: MEAT, the only ingredient you will ever get at Alwans!
Alwan & Sons Delicatessen Case
Our 20 foot New York style deli department is stocked with a wide variety of preferred deli-meats; all sliced to your liking. We offer
a huge assortment of products from Eckrich, Magnolia, and Avanti cheeses, just to name a few. We offer heart-healthy lunchmeats
from Dietz & Watson, with fewer preservatives. Need a custom created meat and cheese tray or a wide variety of vegetables to
serve 10 to 50 people? Our deli staff will be happy to take the work out of entertaining and assemble one for you. We also offer a
variety of fresh salads made daily in the store such as: traditional salads, potato salad, Cole slaw, tabouli salad, and a mixture of
others to choose from. We also carry homemade hummus and bruschetta.
Produce
Our produce section offers a wide variety of salads, both traditional and organic. We carry a variety of vegetable and fruits. Be sure to pick up some our fresh mushrooms to top off any steak, or complement your favorite chicken recipe with a fresh salad.

In our grocery section, we carry a multitude of items to accompany your very special Alwan purchase. Our shelves
are always full with everyday items and many specialty items that are hard to find. We are always willing to order any items
you need. From ketchup and mustard to spices, seasonings, or marinades Alwans has it. Discover our own name brand of
